Road map to 0.4

Version 0.4 will have the following:

*DONE* The map will be split into regions. These can be selected just like the current hexes.
*DONE* You can move troops.
*DONE* You can move ships.
You can attack enemies, who may retreat.
You can attack and defend cities.
There is a very simple economic system.
*DONE* Multiple resolutions will be supported.
There will be an AI player, but the 'I' part will no more than 10 lines of code.

Time-line for this? Let me stick my fat neck out and hope for 2 months, ok? Exclamation

Done, and the next area is 'you can attack enemies, who may retreat'.

Version 0.3.6 will merit a new sourceforge release, and will feature battles (and sieges).

Right now, these actually seem like the hardest parts. I'm sure multiple resolutions will mean lots of tinkering. Moving ships is an entirely different mechanic from the units.

Since I am back on the case, let me write down what is in the forward plans:

1: Put in the new world map

2: Make the world region-based: this will mean throwing away all the world code, most of the unit code, all the fighting code and all the current animation code.

3: Allow units and ships to move from region to region.
